Our Story

FastStream Networks was founded in 2014 in South Florida by Jarrod Brown. We are one of the few, if not the only, Internet Service Provider in South Florida founded by a CEO with a BS in Computer Science and literally decades of networking and programming experience. While still in college, Jarrod worked at State Farm Insurance’s corporate headquarters. He and another State Farm employee wrote the client and server code that facilitated the work flow nationwide for close to 100,000 employees. At the time, that was one of the largest networks in the country and State Farm was one of the largest companies in the country.
